|Title||SALES MANAGER – MEDICAL EQUIPMENT|
Ref 6762. We have an exciting opening for a Sales Manager – Africa and Projects at one of the leading medical equipment companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for products sold in neighbouring countries outside of South Africa.
Be willing to embark on extensive travel on an international basis.
Have excellent, proven sales skills in the healthcare sales area – with at least 5 years experience.
Have a Degree in Clinical Radiography or Clinical Engineering.
Be able to build effective relationships with key decision makers.
Have strong leadership and managerial skills and strong business acumen.
Be capable of developing and presenting clinical and commercial presentations and arguments to support products.
Be extremely familiar with Public and Private Tender processes.
Core responsibilities will be:
Ensuring good financial performance of the Division – ensuring that sales targets and margins are achieved.
Sales management of the full range of products.
Ensuring sound administration of sales practices and processes, including developing new processes.
Visiting key decision makers in the Ministries of Health and Private Healthcare sectors, including financial and clinical.
Liaising and coordinating with Sales and Service Managers, as well as complimentary suppliers.
Maintaining excellent relationships with all customers, especially Key Accounts in the State and Private Sectors.
Hiring, managing and developing staff.
