|Title||Trauma Consultant – Johannesburg|
We have a great opportunity for a trauma consultant, to be responsible to achieve, maintain and exceed sales targets through successful sales strategies and account management. Furthermore the trauma consultant will responsible to ensure growth of his/her sales territory.
-Maintain and nurture healthy relationships with Hospital Theatre Matrons, Pharmacy Managers, CSSD and relevant hospital theatre staff.
-Ensure availability for “on-call” standing in for colleagues as and when required.
-Adhere to and maintain compliance with all stock control and administration standard operating procedures of the company.
-Meeting clients during theatre cases and attending meetings in surgeons’ rooms, where necessary.
-Assist surgeons with surgical techniques and ensure that the correct case process is followed.
-Provide effective after sales service by, inter alia, following up with surgeons after cases to determine ease of use, dislikes and general feedback or inputs.
-Timeously submit product complaint reports to the relevant manager and ensure that feedback is provided to surgeons.
Proven knowledge in Orthopaedic products in the trauma field.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organisational abilities.
Sound Business Acumen.
Own vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
Ability and willingness to work afterhours and during weekends.
Ability to orchestrate a successful new business development strategy whilst nurturing strong relationships with current customers.
Sound track record of achievement of sales targets.
