Recognising the need for a Specialist Medical Recruitment company in the Western Cape, Eta Lyons founded Eta Lyons Medical Recruitment in October 1986. Eta is a qualified Medical Technologist and after completing her training, decided that she wanted to go into sales. She joined Roussel Laboratories ( now part of the Sanofi Group of companies) where she worked for 10 years, 5 years as a Medical Representative and 5 years as an RSM, managing two top performing divisions in the Western and Eastern Cape. Eta enjoyed great success and soon expanded the operation to include KZN and in 1989 opened an office in Gauteng.

Tina Lenders

Medical Recruitment Consultant (Coastal)

Tina matriculated in Cape Town. She started her career in the hospitality industry before going into Generalist Recruitment in 2000 where she started out in Reception/ Administration/Personal Assistant. She joined Eta Lyons in 2010 and is now responsible for the placements of Pharmacy, Dispensing Doctor, Surgical, Specialist, Technical Representatives and Management staff in the Medical Industry. “ I love what I do and thoroughly enjoy making a real difference in my candidates’ careers”

Maropeng Mokgola

Medical Recruitment Consultant

Maropeng matriculated in Limpopo, Motlishi Secondary School. She started her career in IT recruitment as a Resources Administrator and Accounts Clerk. She then moved to Finance and Accounting Recruitment as a Researcher. She then worked for an ECD Training Institute before joining the Eta Lyons Medical Recruitment team as Office Support and has recently been promoted from Researcher to Medical Recruitment Consultant.

Karin Spies

Acting Regional Manager (Gauteng)

Karin is accredited by APSO (Association of Personnel Services Organization) and has been in the recruitment industry for over 21 years. She completed her NQF 5 Employment Services Business Management programme at Wits in 2018. Karin has over 8 years Medical Recruitment experience both locally and internationally. Other expertise: Business Development, HR Coaching, Training of Recruitment consultants, Recruitment of contract and permanent staff, Headhunting, Response handling, Retrenchment Coaching, payroll outsourcing, Management and Information Management, Business Intelligence IT and Executive placements. She has vast experience working in various sectors and industries of the business.
